The Denver Broncos have 35 players (and coaches and owners) in their Ring of Fame, including five quarterbacks.
Frank Tripucka (1960-63) was the first quarterback in franchise history, helping launch the team in the early days of the AFL. He led the AFL in passing yards twice and was named an AFL All-Star in 1962.
Charley Johnson (1972-75) spent the final four years of his career in Denver, throwing for 52 touchdowns (seventh-most in franchise history). He led the NFL with 8.1 yards per pass attempt in 1974.
Craig Morton (1977-82) won a Super Bowl with the Cowboys and then joined the Broncos late in his career and helped them reach their first Super Bowl in franchise history. He won the Comeback Player of the Year award in 1977 and ranks third in franchise history in passing yards (11,895) and touchdowns (74).
John Elway (1983-98) helped Denver reach five Super Bowls during his accomplished career, winning back-to-back titles in the late 1990s. He ranks No. 1 in team history with 51,475 passing yards and 300 touchdowns.
Peyton Manning (2012-15) ranks second in franchise history with 17,112 yards and 140 touchdowns despite playing just four seasons in Denver. The Broncos won the AFC West in all four of Manning’s seasons and they reached two Super Bowls, winning Super Bowl 50 in the QB’s final season. Manning joined Elway in the Hall of Fame in 2021.
