These open-ear headphones feel so good it might Shockz you

Shokz.

There’s a pair of headphones so light and comfortable you’d almost forget you were wearing them if it wasn’t for the crisp, clear music you’re hearing. Like adding a soundtrack to your life, they’re designed to keep you fully aware of your surroundings while still able to enjoy your music or conversations. It’s Shokz’s headphones, the pioneer of bone-conduction and sports headphones.

Whether you’re a runner, cyclist, commuter or podcast lover, Shokz open-ear headphones allow you to enjoy your music without blocking out sounds that could be important. Through the use of the latest bone-conduction and direct pitch technologies, the headphones don’t compromise on sound and feel just as good to wear.

Designed for happier workouts

If you spend a lot of time running, cycling, climbing or doing other sports, you need a pair of Shokz OpenRun Pro. The open-ear design offers you a safer way to hear traffic and other surrounding sounds. It offers 10 hours of battery life with a premium sound quality that can help you enjoy your music during longer workouts.

Many runners and cyclists struggle with headphones dropping out of their ears. That’s not a problem with OpenRun Pro. They’re light but stable during training, even if you really shake your head. What’s more, their high level of waterproofing means rain or sweat is never a problem. But if you’re keen on running in the pouring rain, the OpenRun headphones have a waterproof rating of IP67.

Light and comfortable for longer wearing

Wearing a pair of heavy in-ear headphones for more than a few hours can be uncomfortable, and can even affect the health of your ears over longer periods. If you regularly listen to podcasts, use headphones for study or work, or just want headphones that are fashionable and comfortable, the OpenFit is for you.

With an open-ear design, Shokz OpenFit features a dolphin arc ear hook that goes over the ear, holding it securely in place, even while working out. The hooks are thin enough that they can still be easily worn alongside glasses and the whole unit weighs just 8.3g, meaning they’re so light, you’ll hardly know you have them on.

Shokz OpenFit uses DirectPitch technology rather than bone conduction. This process optimises the distance between the sound source and the ear to transfer the sound more directly into the ear. The proprietary low-frequency enhancement algorithm adjusts the EQ in real-time, resulting in a clearer sound with deeper lows and bright highs.

For voice calls, OpenFit features call noise cancellation, using its dual microphones to provide beam forming and focus on your voice rather than the surroundings. The earphones also support multipoint pairing, so you can swap easily between the audio on your phone and laptop.

The OpenFit headphones can even extend their seven-hour listening time by up to a massive 28 hours thanks to the provided charging case. The case provides another three full charges, plus just 5 minutes of charge provides another hour of listening.

Whether you want the OpenRun, OpenRun Pro or OpenFit, all pairs of the Shokz open earphones are discounted in the run-up to Black Friday, with up to 30% off most pairs. That means the OpenRun earphones start from just £89.95 and the OpenFit are just £152.

They are all available now from the Shokz website as well as all good online and in-store retailers.
