On Tuesday night, the Chicago Sky earned their fourth win of the young 2022 WNBA season when they beat the Indiana Fever 95-50 in front of 7,741 fans at Wintrust Arena.
All who were in attendance were treated to much more than just a fantastic and entertaining battle between two Eastern Conference teams, however. The night was more about what took place before the game — the celebration of the Sky’s 2021 WNBA Championship.
The pre-game ceremony included each present member of the championship team receiving some amazing-looking championship rings featuring the Willis Tower (generally still known worldwide as the Sears Tower), which was then followed by the unveiling and raising of the championship banner to the rafters.
