HIS HOUSE (2020)
His House is a 2020 horror-thriller film written and directed by Remi Weekes from a story by Felicity Evans and Toby Venables.

The film follows a refugee couple who makes a harrowing escape from war-torn South Sudan, but then they struggle to adjust to their new life in an English town that has an evil lurking beneath the surface.
It was released on October 30, 2020, by Netflix and received widespread acclaim from critics.
Film critics have given the film a 100% rating, it is worth the watch.
CRIP CAMP (2020)
Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution is a 2020 American documentary film directed, written and co-produced by Nicole Newnham and James LeBrecht.
Barack and Michelle Obama even served as executive producers on the film project under their Higher Ground Productions banner.
The film’s co-director James LeBrecht came up with the idea over lunch with Nicole Newnham, where he discussed his summer camp as a teen.
LeBrecht was born with spina bifida and uses a wheelchair to get around.
Crip Camp starts in 1971 at Camp Jened, a summer camp in New York described as a "loose, free-spirited camp designed for teens with disabilities"
The film stars Larry Allison, Judith Heumann, James LeBrecht, and Stephen Hofmann, and focuses on those campers who turned themselves into activists for the disability rights movement and follows their fight for accessibility legislation.
DICK JOHNSON IS DEAD (2020)
An unlikely contender, the story focuses on Kirsten Johnson's father Richard who suffers from dementia and portrays various ways in which he could ultimately die.
In each scenario, the elderly Richard Johnson, a retired clinical psychiatrist plays along with his filmmaker daughter's dark humour and imaginative fantasies.
Kirsty has her Dad act out his own funeral and fantasises about him entering the gates of heaven.
To help both father and daughter, face the inevitable of Johnson’s death through bittersweet humour and grace .
The film premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Award for Innovation in Non-fiction Storytelling and critics rate it at 100%.
THE SQUARE (2013)
Oscar-nominated, The Square is a 2013 Egyptian-American documentary film by Jehane Noujaim, which depicts the Egyptian Crisis until 2013, starting with the Egyptian Revolution of 2011 at Tahrir Square.
The film revolves around Egyptian revolutionaries battling their leaders and the hard realities faced day-to-day by people working to build Egypt's new democratic regime to build a new society.
The Square received universal acclaim, currently holding a 100% "fresh" rating.
ATHLETE A (2020)
This documentary focuses on the gymnasts who survived USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar's abuse and the reporters who exposed USAG's toxic culture.

"Athlete A," named for the then-anonymous gymnast whose complaint led to the first public disclosure of decades of abuse by Larry Nassar, reveals that the toxic culture of USA Gymnastics was about protecting the brand, not the girl.

STRONG ISLAND (2017)
Strong Island is an American 2017 true-crime documentary film directed by Yance Ford.
Filmmaker Yance Ford investigates the 1992 murder of a young black man, and what is an achingly personal journey since the murder victim, 24-year-old William Ford Jr who was a teacher was the filmmaker's brother.
In "Strong Island," Yance Ford, the director, speaks directly to the camera about his brother's murder 20 years ago, and about how it caused the shattering of his family.
The film has a 100% rating.
LADY BIRD (2017)
Ladybird is a 2017 coming of age story about a teenager (Saoirse Ronan), as she navigates a loving but turbulent relationship with her strong-willed mother (Laurie Metcalf) over the course of an eventful and poignant senior year of high school full of ups and downs.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON (2010)
How to Train Your Dragon is a 2010 American animation action-fantasy film.
The story takes place in a mythical Viking world where a young Viking teenager named Hiccup aspires to follow his tribe's tradition of becoming a dragon slayer.
His progressive views and weird sense of humour make him a misfit, despite the fact that his father (Gerard Butler) is chief of the clan.
Tossed into dragon-fighting school, he endeavours to prove himself as a true Viking, but when he befriends an injured dragon he names Toothless, he has the chance to plot a new course for his people's future.
How to Train Your Dragon was widely praised upon its release and the film has a 99% rating.

UNDER THE SHADOW (2016)
Under The Shadow is a 2016 Persian-language psychological horror film written and directed by Iranian-born Babak Anvari as his directorial debut.
Shideh's building is hit by a missile during the Iran-Iraq War, a superstitious neighbour suggests that the missile was cursed and might be carrying malevolent Middle-Eastern spirits.
She becomes convinced a supernatural force within the building is attempting to possess her daughter Dorsa, and she has no choice but to confront these forces if she is to save her daughter and herself.
The film received critical acclaim. It was selected as the British entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.
