Its only been open for a few weeks but M&S in Mumbles has already proved to be a popular addition to the area.
When the store opened on January 22, shoppers queued for hours as hundreds flocked to the new food court.
Based in Newton Road, the luxurious development features nine exclusive apartments located close to the beach as well as a Marks & Spencer Simply food store.
However, since it's been open there's been some confusion over the parking rules.
It appears to be unclear to some as to who can actually park there and for how long.
With car parks in Mumbles often full to bursting and spaces at a premium, we decided to ask M&S to explain the situation with its facility.
M&S said there were several Welsh and English signs located around the car park that clearly stated the conditions of parking.
The residents living in the flats above M&S have a separate private car park that isn’t connected to the store.
As for everyone else, Hannah Jenkins, M&S Mumbles store manager, said: “We want to ensure our customers have a good experience whenever they shop at our store – including being able to park easily.
"The car park has 65 spaces for M&S shoppers, and customers can park there for free for a maximum of 90 minutes, giving them plenty of time to shop.”
But it wasn't quite clear how this would be enforced in terms of restricting use to customers only.
M&S directed our questions on this to Euro Car Parks, which manages the site.
Euro Car Parks has not yet commented - we will update this story if and when we receive a response.
