Netflix's June releases are some of the most exciting we've seen all year, with new episodes of old favourites like Bridgerton and Sweet Tooth dropping, as well as new films like Hit Man, Trigger Warning and A Family Affair—the highly anticipated Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron age-gap romance.
While the summer months mean lazy picnic days, lido swims and sunny trips to the coast are calling our name we'd recommend earmarking these new shows for any unseasonably rainy days.

The Breakfast Club - June 1
This classic '80s high school drama is a great one to revisit, or add to your list if you've not seen it. The plot revolves around six typical high school characters - the athlete, the brain, the bully, the princess, and the loner - being stuck together during a Saturday in detention and finding out they have more in common than they think.
Sweet Tooth season 3 - June 6
Sweet Tooth's third season is the final chapter in the post-apocalyptic series, which sees Gus, a 10-year-old part-deer boy as one of the human/animal hybrid born after the downfall of humanity, on a quest to find his mother.
Hit man - June 7
Inspired by an incredible true story, Netflix's Hit Man stars Glen Powell, who also co-wrote the series. The plot centres around fake hit man Gary Johnson and his feelings for prospective client Madison, played by Adria Arjona.
Bridgerton season 3, part 2 - June 13
The highly anticipated second part of the third season of Bridgerton is nearly here. On June 13 the final four episodes of the new season will air, giving viewers the conclusion to Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, and Colin's story.
Carol - June 17
Cate Blanchett stars as Carol, a glamorous married woman living in 1950s New York who begins a forbidden romance with an older woman. Based on the 1952 romance novel The Price of Salt, this highly acclaimed romantic drama is a must-watch.
