A video of three adorable baby seals has gone viral for their loud vocals.
The video, captioned Did you know that baby harbour seals can be very vocal?, was posted by Marine Mammal Rescue (@marinemammalrescue) on TikTok earlier this week.
It features the three seals showing off their loud, lovable voices to the surprise of viewers.
Since being posted, the video has garnered over 5.9 million views, 1.8 million likes and 16,000 comments.
The comments include: “This has single-handedly cured my anxiety today”, “I’d die for them” and “Oh here’s where I left my serotonin, thanks!”.
Another user commented “I’m gonna start making those noises if no one pets that little buddy”, to which the rescue centre replied: “They’re not really into touching… but when they’re this young, they’re hungry all the time and gain weight rapidly!”.
The TikTok account, which has more than 1 million followers, regularly posts cute content and updates on the residents of the Marine Mammal Rescue centre in Vancouver, Canada.
The centre say they have been open for 60 years and aim to rescue, rehabilitate and release sick and injured marine mammals.
They also educate their audiences on sea mammals and what and what not to do if you ever came across one in the wild.
The centre’s residents include harbour seals – as featured in the viral TikTok video – sea otters and sea lions.
The harbour seals at the rescue centre also go by charming names such as Squish, Seaweed, Ramen and Apple Fritter.
The centre’s other content, such as the sweet video of a sea otter having a pamper session below, has also gone viral with over 2.2 million views.
