Unlucky for some, but not for Notts - 13 of the county's restaurants have been named as some of the best in Britain in the AA's 2020 Restaurant Guide.
The food lover's guide to the best cuisine in the country features more than 2,000 restaurants which have been awarded Rosettes for culinary excellence by the AA's professional inspectors.
Entries include Lord Byron’s ancestral home, Byron's Brasserie at Colwick, an inn in a 12th century village, The Blacksmiths in Clayworth, and an industrial style restaurant on the banks of the Trent, Farndon Boathouse.
