There will be a free Luis Miguel concert in Mexico - When and Where?

As the summer sun continues to shine over the Mexican city of San Luis Potosí, the "Sol de México" himself, Luis Miguel, is set to dazzle fans with a free concert as part of his record-breaking world tour. State's governor Ricardo Gallardo revealed the news, which has sent waves of excitement across Mexico and beyond.

The much-anticipated free concert will be part of the Feria Nacional Potosina (FENAPO), which will take place between August 9th and September 1st. The event will be held at the Palenque and Teatro del Pueblo in San Luis Potosí, known for hosting some of the biggest names in the music industry. Alongside Luis Miguel, the festival will feature performances by international stars such as the Black Eyed Peas, Gloria Trevi, Maluma, and Steve Aoki, among others.

A Celebration of Music

Governor Gallardo took to the stage to share the exciting news: "As promised, we will give you the guest artist for FENAPO 2024." His announcement confirmed Luis Miguel as the surprise artist and invited neighboring states to join what he described as "the biggest fair in Mexico."

While the exact date of Luis Miguel's performance remains under wraps, it's expected to be one of the highlights of the month-long celebration.

The fact that the concert is free for the public doesn`t mean that El Sol de México won't get paid. The cost of the performance will be covered by the local government and the organizers of the fairs.

These kinds of events are held across Mexico regularly throughout the year. The state fairs are a mix of public and private events. La Feria de San Marcos is the most famous fair, but other states and cities are working hard to occupy the top spot.

World Tour Finale

Currently, Luis Miguel is captivating audiences in Spain with 15 concerts as part of his 2024 Tour, which concludes on August 3rd in Marbella. Following his European stint, he will return to Mexico to continue his tour, with performances starting on August 22nd in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The free concert in San Luis Potosí will serve as a triumphant homecoming and the beginning of the grand finale to a tour that has shattered attendance records worldwide.

The tour ends on September 15th in Las Vegas with his now-legendary concert to celebrate Mexico's Independence Day.
