Manchester is known for many things - its football teams, famous TV soaps and, of course, its enviable music scene. From the famous bands who started out on their road to success here, to the iconic musical locations and legendary club nights, it really does have it all.
So, it makes sense that in just a couple of weeks time, some of the biggest names in British pop music will be descending on the city to perform at a top secret location. The intimate, 150-person gig, hosted by Rockstar Energy Drink, will see performances from singers Raye, Tom Grennan and Ella Eyre, plus DJ MistaJam.
Aiming to usher in a new era for the city’s post work, pre-party night out, The Rockstar Press Play Pre-Party, which takes place on Thursday, February 23, will see MistaJam setting the tone with dance anthems before passing the mic over to some of the UK’s biggest musical stars. Commenting on the secret gig, the radio presenter and DJ said: “I’m buzzing to be hosting the Rockstar Energy’s Pre-Party with some of the UK’s premier talent, Raye, Tom Grennan and Ella Eyre, in one of the most notorious party cities in the country.

“Just like Rockstar, our set is going to give the party goers the energy they need to make the most of their night.”
Singer-songwriter and UK Chart-Topper, Raye, who has just released her debut album ‘My 21st Century Blues' to critical acclaim, adds: “Together with MistaJam and Rockstar we’re going to make sure people leave the workday behind and press play on the greatest pre-party.”
To bag a ticket for the exclusive event, all hopeful attendees are being told to keep an eye out on Rockstar UK and the music stars' Instagram channels from today, with more information being released online.
