'There are no superstars' - Kevin De Bruyne explains secret behind Man City's success this season

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne insisted not much has changed this season for the Blues as they attempt to make history on Saturday in the Champions League final.

Last weekend, City beat Manchester United at Wembley in the FA Cup final. The victory secured City's second trophy of the campaign ahead of their clash with Inter Milan at the end of the week.

Should they beat the Serie A giants, it will be only the second time an English club has won the treble in history.

However, De Bruyne believes the lack of egos in the City dressing room has helped them push on this campaign. Explaining the secret behind their success, the Belgian told Sky Sports: "I don't feel like a lot has changed.

"Obviously there has been a personal change but I think the spirit of the group has been pretty much the same in the eight years I have been here. The group is really nice, they are really tight together.

"I don't feel like there is any superstars in the team, everybody is willing to do the job they are meant to do. I always feel a lot of fire for winning trophies, even after all the things we have done.

"People go again and again and sometimes it is a little bit harder and sometimes it gets easier but for the rest of us I don't think like there has been a lot of change which has happened."
