Adventure bikes have taken the world by storm in recent years. Whether it’s seasoned riders chasing dirt trails or new adventurers looking for a go-anywhere machine, there’s no denying that the ADV segment is booming. And at the heart of that movement is the Yamaha Ténéré 700—a middleweight ADV that’s become the poster bike for off-road capability and real-world usability.
Unlike many of its tech-heavy, bigger-is-better rivals, the T7 takes a more stripped-down, performance-first approach. It’s tough, lightweight, and in a sense, kinda old school. Yamaha built it genuinely for hitting the trails and not so much for comfort and tech. And now, Team Blue is turning up the cool factor with a limited-run version called the Ténéré 700 Yamalube Edition—a bike that looks like it rolled straight out of a rally raid paddock.
The catch? You can’t buy it. You’ve got to win it.
Yamaha is giving this special-edition machine away as part of a promo campaign exclusive to France. Yup, only riders based in France can enter (sucks for us). The contest runs until April 30, 2025, and all it takes to join is filling out a quick form on Yamaha France’s official website. One lucky winner will ride off on this rally-ready beast, and while Yamaha hasn’t revealed how many of these bikes were made, they’ve made it clear—it’s not for sale.
What makes this version of the T7 so special? It’s all about the livery. Dressed in a black and blue color scheme with subtle silver accents, the design is clean and understated, focusing heavily on the Yamalube branding. It’s a slick, factory-style look that gives off serious Dakar vibes without being overly flashy. Think stealth rally bike.

Livery aside, the bike comes fitted with pretty much all the pretty bolt-ons you’d want for your T7. It gets GYTR serrated footpegs for extra grip when tackling the muddy, rugged stuff. It even breathes through a blacked-out Akrapovic muffler that amplifies the raspy bark of the CP2 engine. Lastly, Yamaha optioned in black engine guards and skid plates adding some functional protection to the bike’s already capable setup.
The rest of the bike is standard T7, which is to say, already pretty badass—21-inch front wheel, long-travel suspension, and that torquey CP2 parallel-twin engine that’s as happy on a gravel road as it is carving twisties. But visually? This Yamalube Edition is next-level cool.

Even if you don’t live in France—or just don’t win—this limited edition is a great reminder of how a fresh set of graphics and a few fancy bolt-ons can completely transform a bike’s vibe. It’s a solid source of inspiration for T7 owners looking to give their bikes a more rally-inspired look.
After all, who doesn’t love a good livery?
