The XFL 3.0 uniforms, ranked from worst to best

The third iteration of the XFL — owned, in part, by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — is slowly taking shape.

We’ve seen the team locations and nicknames chosen. We’ve got coaching staffs. The recent draft delivered some players — some ex-NFLers are in the bunch! — to each of those teams. It’s all coming together for the league to kick off for XFL 3.0 in mid-February 2023, after the NFL’s Super Bowl (that’s right, it’s more football to watch!).

Now? On Wednesday, the league reveled the uniforms for each of the teams on SportsCenter, so we’ve got to rank them from worst to best.

Away we go below this roundup tweet:

8
DC Defenders

They’re just very … red. I would love some different colors or something else here.

7
Seattle Sea Dragons

I’d be much higher on these if I didn’t get such a huge University of Miami vibe from them!

6
St. Louis Battlehawks

I liked the helmet combo with the white version of the uniforms.

5
Orlando Guardians

Points for originality with that neon green that we don’t see everywhere. But there are better.

4
San Antonio Brahmas

I love the little details and designs throughout this one.

3
Vegas Vipers

The snakeskin design on the pants is fantastic, as is the really dark grey with the red.

2
Arlington Renegades

Houston Oilers-esque in some ways, but that’s not a complaint at all. Love these color combinations.

1
Houston Roughnecks

By far, the No. 1 uniform of the bench. Both versions are so clean!
