Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said the Anfield crowd might be the most hostile that he has faced so far in his managerial career.
Liverpool are looking to apply further pressure on the top four as the race for the Champions League begins to open up. The Reds will have extra motivation to get a result against the Red Devils following defeats for Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah helped Jurgen Klopp's side extend their run to four unbeaten in the Premier League when they dispatched of Wolves in midweek. They face their fierce rivals in the late kick-off on Sunday (16:30pm) looking to seek revenge for their defeat in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford.

"I'm aware of it. I know what the rivalry is, I know the biggest rivalry for us is Liverpool, we are totally aware of it," said Ten Hag. "We need a strong mentality if we want to win this game.
"I know. I know," he added after being asked about the atmosphere at Anfield during these occasions against their East Lancs rivals. "I’ve seen the games between Liverpool and Manchester United. I know what’s going on there.
"I have been already in many hostile stadiums but it will probably be the worst – maybe. But I have been in other occasions too that are really hostile so I know what’s going on there and I’m really looking forward to it and my players are the same."
