The worst airplane seats that customers should avoid, including easyJet, Ryanair and BA

Airplane seats aren't exactly renowned for being the comfiest places in the world.

However, the seat you pick could determine whether you have a positive or negative experience while onboard. As reported by the Daily Record, some customers enjoy a window seat so they can watch the world go by - while others opt for the extra leg room of an aisle seat.

So, while some seats could make your flying experience better, others can really drag your mood down. One well-known seat that nobody likes is the 11A seat on Ryanair flights.

This seat has no window - or a really little one - despite it being on the window aisle. Some passengers are left feeling disappointed when landed with seat 11A, and took to Seatlink to complain - a website that lets people rate aeroplane seats.

One reviewer stated: “There is no window if you need to see out to not feel sick stay away. I thought I was going to vomit for 90% of the flight as I had no reference to the outside.”

The other seats that received a rubbish score were seats 33A to F on the plane - as they are right in front of the toilets. Due to this, toilets can begin to smell - and that's not what you want on a long haul journey.

Ryanair aren't the only airline who have received bad reviews - many other planes and airlines have “bad” seats which people say to steer clear of.

The Telegraph said: “Norwegian’s 737s have the same issue (avoid seats 10A, 11A and 11F), as does American Airlines’ (steer clear of 11A and 11F).

“But if you fly with easyJet, the windowless perches are at the back, rather than in the middle. Seat 31A, to be precise, for those on its A320 aircraft, and seat 26A and 26F on its A319s.”

Also, British Airways A380s apparently have seats that have a limited view from windows too. Economy seats 70A and 70K offer very little in way of a window view.

This also applies to 12A, 12K, 50A and 50K in Club World. On Reddit, frequent flyers have recommended using website SeatGuru.

One person said: “ Seatguru is a good source for scouting out a good seat.”

SeatGuru is a website that lets you look at the seating plan of any upcoming flights so you can locate the best seats with leg room, or window views.
