The worrying Brentford stat Leeds United will need to overcome on Sunday's relegation D-Day

Pascal Struijk's stoppage-time equaliser against Brighton & Hove Albion should give Leeds United fans hope in their fight for Premier League survival. However, with Brentford up next in their final game of the season, there is one stat in particular that should give Leeds fans cause for concern.

Since his first start for Brentford against Norwich on March 5 after signing for the Bees in January, Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen has had a transformative effect on Thomas Frank's side. In that time, they have picked up a whopping 22 points in the Premier League.

That is a points tally that has only been bettered by Tottenham (26), Liverpool (26) and Manchester City (24). In comparison, Leeds have claimed 12 points from their 11 matches over this span.

The Bees come out on top in seven of their last 10 Premier League outings and will be looking to end their debut campaign on a high when they welcome Leeds to the Brentford Community Stadium next weekend.

There was never any doubting Eriksen's quality, but there were concerns about whether he could hit the heights he hit with Spurs and Inter Milan following his shock on-field collapse during last year's European Championships for Denmark.

Leeds will almost certainly have to try and keep the Dane quiet if they are to have any hope of taking points against one of the league's in-form sides. Struijk's header against Brighton moved Leeds out of the bottom three, a point above Burnley.

However, Burnley still have a game in hand on Jesse Marsch's side, and will play Aston Villa on Thursday. Should they fail to pick up a point, then Leeds will know that a win against Brentford on the final day will keep them up, securing them Premier League football for next season.

Everton also remain in the relegation mix after they saw two players sent off against Brentford, twice throwing away a lead as they lost 3-2 at Goodison Park. Frank Lampard's side host Crystal Palace on Thursday before a trip to face Arsenal on Sunday, know two points from those two matches should be enough to ensure safety.
