The White Lotus star Aimee Lee Wood has shared the “stressful” impact of the hotly-anticipated season three finale.
The Mancunian actress, 31, plays Chelsea, the girlfriend of Rick Hatchett (Walter Goggins) in the new season, which is based in Thailand.
Ahead of the HBO series’ epic finale on Sunday, Wood revealed she’s been keeping the identity of who dies a secret for two years.
“I found out when I was 29 years old. I'm 31 now. That's how long I've been holding that secret, so I need it to be over now,” the Sex Education star said during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday.
“I've got that thing like when you need the loo and you're in the car and then you see you've made it the whole journey but then you see the front door and you think I can't do the five more steps... that's how I feel.”
Wood also revealed her character was initially meant to be American - but series creator Mike White liked the “off-centre” edge her Mancunian accent lent to the role.

“Talking about astrology as an American, it starts to feel quite LA, and it was, like, Scorpio. And then, they were like, ‘Do one American but do one in her own voice,’” she said.
“And I think there was something about it made it slightly more off-centre and maybe a bit more individual when it was in a Manchester accent.”
Wood added that she didn’t meet her onscreen boyfriend Goggins until they began filming as there were no chemistry tests.
“Well I think they've been looking for Chelsea for a while. And Mike's very instinctive with his casting. He kind of just is all intuition,” she explained.
“We don't do chemistry tests. Like me and Walton had never met It's all just he trusts that it's going to work.”
In the latest episode, titled Killer Instinct, fans saw Timothy (Jason Isaacs) have more dark visions of killing his family members, Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) finally making the connections about the recent hotel robbery, and Rick (Goggins) seemingly finding peace after confronting who he thought killed his father.
The final episode, which runs for 90 minutes, is titled Amor Fati - which translates as love of fate - and has plenty of loose ends to tie up.
Fans have flooded the internet with their theories on who could be the body that Belinda’s son Zion saw floating in the water at the luxury hotel the guests are staying at.
