The Weeknd never fails to impress with his Halloween costumes.
This year, he was unrecognisable as he transformed himself into Don Vito Corleone.
"The Don" as he's also known, is a fictional character in Mario Puzo's 1972 mafia drama movie, The Godfather, portrayed by Marlon Brando, who was a prolific mob boss who saw his empire threatened by criminal competition.
The 31-year-old Blinding Lights singer took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes footage of the transformation.
He wore what looks like prosthetics to change his facial features, a grey-slicked back wig and even changed the colour of his skin to make The Don come to life.

In the pictures, The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - posed in a black tuxedo and black bow tie along with a red rose in his jacket pocket just like in the classic film.
He captioned the post: "The Don is coming …"
Fans rushed to praise his efforts in the comments as one person said: "Bro how do you win Halloween every year?"
Another said: "OMG WHAT," while a third added: "Undefeated."
Last year, The Weeknd transformed into Eddie Murphy's 'The Nutty Professor' character Sherman Klump.
Meanwhile, in 2019, he rocked The Joker look, donning a purple suit jacket and hat, green hair, and face paint.
Back in 2018, he and his then-girlfriend Bella Hadid went as Beetlejuice and Lydia Beetz.
He wore his Vito Corleone costume out on October 31 where he was reportedly seen with a "mystery woman", according to the Daily Mail.
This only fuelled romance rumours that he and Angelina Jolie are dating after the pair had been spotted together on a number of occasions this year.
While the pair have not confirmed that they are officially an item, Angelina did open up about the musician in an interview with E!'s Daily Pop.
When asked whether her six children were more excited by her role in her film The Eternals, or her friendship with The Weeknd, she said: "They're very excited about this film... If that's what you're asking.
'They're very excited about this film.'
