The Wanted bandmembers breakdown in tears as they carry Tom Parker's coffin to church

The Wanted singers Max George, Jay McGuinness, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykes were all visibly moved as they carried the coffin of the late Tom Parker into church earlier this morning.

The Glad You Came singers looked visibly moved as Champagne Supernova by Oasis played while they carried Tom's coffin inside for the private service, alongside two other male mourners.

Prior to the boys walking with the coffin, a soft piano version of Celine Dion's hit single My Heart Will Go On played as the band approached.

Siva broke down in tears as he shouldered the coffin into the church on Wednesday morning, with onlooking mourners noting how heartbroken all members of the band appeared on the sombre occasion.

Tom's late wife Kelsey briefly left the church to watch her late husband's bandmates carry his coffin inside, while hundreds of fans burst into tears as they watched on at a distance.

Tom, who died aged 33 from a rare brain tumour, was driven through the picturesque Petts Wood before being laid to rest surrounded by best friends and his fellow bandmates.

Fans lined the nearby streets, at Tom's wife Kelsey's request, as the dad-of-two made his final journey to the church ahead of being laid to rest.

Fans dressed in black gathered along the high street of Petts Wood to pay their respects and fell silent as his coffin was placed into the horse-drawn carriage.

Many people were crying as the black coffin, which had a spray of calla lilies laid atop of it, was taken from W Uden & Sons funeral parlour to the church.

An order of service for Tom's private funeral states how the dad-of-two will be laid to rest to the same song he was listening to when he passed away last month, Live Forever by Oasis.

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne was also amongst the famous mourners on Wednesday - cutting a solemn figure as he arrived in a white shirt and black suit.

Tom sadly passed away aged 33 on March 30, surrounded by his family and bandmates, after battling an inoperable brain tumour.

Writing on Instagram last week, wife Kelsey told the late star's fans: "Thomas Anthony Parker. There will be a private celebration of life on Wednesday 20th April. We know many of you would like to pay your respects as well, so would love for you to join us in Petts Wood from 10am.

"It would be beautiful to have everyone line the route as we head to our private service. You are then welcome to join us outside the church for the duration where the service will be relayed on screens."

Kelsey confirmed Tom's sad passing on Wednesday 30 March 2022, writing on Instagram: "Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence."
