Fans of Sir Tom Jones have been going wild after ITV's talent show The Voice returned on Saturday, September 3, and featured a clip of the iconic Welsh singer performing a snippet of his new song I Won't Crumble With You If You Fall from his latest album. The song was dedicated to his late wife who died of lung cancer in 2016 and saw the singer with tears in his eyes.
And taking to the show once again at the age of 82 - he has been a judge on the ITV series since 2012 - the silver fox was seen to be looking strong and healthy despite being in waiting for a hip replacement and having suffered a number of other health scares earlier this year. But how does he do it?
It seems a famous diet plan, which saw him losing an impressive amount of weight, and fast, has kept him looking trim and svelte for all these years.

The Delilah singer lost over two stone in just five months by following the caveman - or paleo - diet, reports The Express. This sees dieters feasting on a selection of lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds — foods that "get back to what we used to eat when we were hunters and gatherers. Eat anything that's natural – meat, fish, veg", Tom told a radio show previously.
He also cut down on drinking alcohol - at one stage, he reveals he was enjoying a bottle of wine with dinner.
Speaking on a Radio 2 show at the time, Sir Tom said of his weight loss: "I was putting too much weight on. I didn't think I was going to and I left the working out for a bit, thought I'd keep a check on it.
"But with the Christmas puddings and cakes, before I knew it I was 230lb (16.4 stone) which was 30lb more than I should be. I couldn't get into my suits. That's when I thought: 'This has got to stop'."
With the help of a dietician, Tom Jones overhauled his lifestyle. "Health is very important," he added, "You’ve got to take care of yourself." Speaking of his drinking habits, he said: "The dietician asked: 'how much do you drink?' I told him I like a bottle of red wine with my dinner. 'To yourself?' he said. "What I didn't tell him was I'd started off with a martini, had a cognac and a bottle of champagne too."
Now, Sir Tom is looking fantastic and it seems impossible to believe he is 82. Luckily, the Sex Bomb singer has reassured fans, in a new interview, that "I’ll still be performing when I’m 100, if I can. When I was young, I used to say I’ll be doing it until I was 97, but it’s not that far away now".
The caveman diet, according to the Mayo Clinic, promotes rapid weight loss and has a range of other health benefits that including improved glucose tolerance, lower blood pressure and better appetite management.
A Paleo diet is rich in vegetables, fruits and nuts and the main difference between other healthy diets is the absence of whole grains, legumes and dairy products. Alongside the reduction of alcohol and following the caveman diet, Sir Tom also explained how he often exercises with a personal trainer.
