The Vikings and Raiders posted a historic 3-0 final score that NFL fans ruthlessly roasted

It hasn’t been the best year for quality NFL football, but for the most part, it’s easy to find a measure of entertainment from most games. After what just happened between the Minnesota Vikings and Las Vegas Raiders, though, I’m not sure that’s always true.

In a game that featured only roughly 400 yards of offense and just a combined 35 percent third-down conversion rate, the Vikings and Raiders finished with a total of three points. I cannot emphasize this enough: this is entirely true. A 2023 NFL matchup had just three points over approximately one hour of game time (and the three hours it takes to watch it). Where was the action? Nothing happened of note!

Needless to say, this “feat” ties an NFL record for the lowest-scoring game ever. It’s also the lowest-scoring indoor game ever. Oof.

Dearest readers, you knew what you were doing when you clicked on this article. You’re here to read more about the Vikings and Raiders setting a clear low point for offensive football.

I’ll let the NFL world do that in only the way it can: a merciless roast.
