The View's frontman Kyle Falconer has shocked fans as he was seen punching his bandmate after a row broke out during their Manchester gig.
Kyle, 35, and his fellow bandmates were set to perform at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on Wednesday night when chaos broke out between the group, best known for their hit Same Jeans.
The jaw-dropping moment was captured by a concert-goer on camera.
In the video, Kyle is seen taking a swing at bassist Kevin Webster, who holds his arm out to create distance between the pair as the audience are audibly shocked.
Dundee singer Kyle appears to land a punch on Kieran while Peter Reilly steps in to separate the pair.
As the guitarist and other stage crew step in to separate the pair, Kyle can be heard saying "I'll f**king kill you".
Later in the gig, Kyle is seen performing and encore of Face for Radio before he stops and tells the audience that Kieran should come on to finish the set.
Kyle puts his guitar down before returning to the microphone and saying: "The problem with this band is he wants to sing the songs and he can't, right, see you later."
The frontman walks off stage before being stopped by a crew member, who tries to urge Kyle to continue with the gig.
However, it's understood Kyle left with a number of songs unplayed from the set list, while a fan tweeted that Kyle and the band played "half the set".
As the footage was shared on social media by a fan, the concert-goer wrote on top: "When you’ve waited for the comeback gig for years & then half way through the lead singer batters the bassist!"
Other fans have reacted to the moment and are speculating if the group will perform at other organised gigs later this year in light of the incident.
One remarked: "Wow, Kyle’s lost it! Shame, was looking forward to seeing The View later this year as well."
Another added: "can't see them rocking up at @nbhdweekender after this".
And a third wrote: "might be a line up change for November".
The Dundee band are due to perform at Oslo Hackney, London tonight while they are also scheduled to perform at TRNSMT this summer, alongside other music festivals.
The group had been on a five-year hiatus, before they announced a comeback in June last year.
Following the comeback gig, the group announced a new album and a string of UK shows in February this year.
They are scheduled to perform a number of dates including in Nottingham, Cambridge, Bristol, Brighton and more.
The View then released their single, Feels Like, which Kyle spoke about writing.
He said in a statement: "Even though under the surface it’s about somewhere everyone’s been in their life before: regret of losing someone amazing due to your inner demons and seeing them moving on with their life, when you’re stuck in a 'nightmare not a dream'.
"When I first sat down to write it I had Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye in mind. It’s playing out in his mind and it’s his own paranoia destroying him from the inside out when in reality she’s the perfect woman."
