The View fans were left furious after ABC took the show off air in the middle of an interview with Hollywood star Michael B. Jordan.
During Tuesday's episode, the programme was abruptly interrupted to make way for a special report live from President Joe Biden's visit to Poland.
Fans have branded the decision to take The View off air 'unacceptable' and insisted the broadcasters could have waited until the show was over.
Taking to Twitter to share their frustrations, one viewer commented: "I’m out here thinking Jimmy Carter died, no it’s Biden in Ukraine. ABC, this ain’t breaking news!! Y’all could wait until after #TheView"
Another said: "Well so much for today’s #TheView. I'm not feeling this," while a third fan wrote: "Yall cut off my husband for biden this is not acceptable."
"And P0TU$ ain’t even on the screen yet Ummm… they could’ve waited until THIS #TheView was finished," another insisted.
Someone else wrote: "Y’all interrupted Michael B Jordan for this mess??? Turn back to #TheView," while another simply said: "Disappointing."
Luckily for fans, one person pointed out: "You can this missing part on the ABC app later on this afternoon."
Earlier in the show, panellist Joy Behar explained that Whoopi Goldberg had sadly been forced to miss the latest episode of The View after falling ill.
Joy explained Whoopi's absence during Tuesday's episode as she offered the actress her well-wishes, saying: "Unfortunately Whoopi isn't here today because she's under the weather."
"She has a cold," Joy explained. "So if you're watching this Whoopi, get better."
Michael B. Jordan also said he wishes Whoopi gets better soon, blowing kisses to the cameras.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to express their sadness that the 67-year-old was absent, with one person writing: "Feel better, Whoopi."
Another added: "Aww Whoopi's under the weather. Or course, kinda wondered what happened, or guess kinda figured she didn't feel good."
"Poor Whoopi," another viewer tweeted while someone else replied with a series of sad faces.
