Who doesn't love an international spy thriller? We can't think of anyone. Elisabeth Moss is basically James Bond in the new FX series The Veil. She plays an undercover MI6 spy going by Imogen Salter initially as she tries to stop a possible terrorist plot. She's definitely the right woman for the job in this action-packed drama.

In real life, Moss is also a boss when it comes to both beauty and fashion. While we love all of her red carpet looks, it's her (and her makeup artist's) ability to always pick the perfect shade of red lipstick that leaves us in awe. As we all know, there are many shades of red, from the glossy ruby kind to wine colors to more matte applications. Moss has them all in her sartorial spy kit. She's even mastered rocking borderline orange hues and the blurred lip effect.

Whether she's a blonde or a brunette, rocking a layered pixie or slicked-back strands, Moss' preferred shade of the moment suits her complexion, hair color and ensemble. Which is why she's always one to watch on the red carpet. Keep reading to discover all the ways to slay red lipstick.

The berry hue was practically begging for a slightly blurred effect, especially with those soaked strands.
