It started off as a "bit of a laugh" with his friends, but soon escalated into a viral sensation. A video of Tai Evans and his brilliant singing voice has now been viewed by more than one million people on TikTok.
The 14-year-old from Cwmparc, Rhondda, said he can't believe the video has been viewed by so many people.
Tai's parents, Darius Evans and Jade Hamer, both said how proud they are of their talented son. Only this week did they find out he and his friends had been posting videos of him singing to the social media app, but weren't surprised by his voice as he is always singing around the house.

Speaking to WalesOnline, Tai said: "I don't know why we decided to do the videos, we were just messing about with the boys and it just ended up going viral. I couldn't believe it. I always sing around the boys, they came up with the idea."
The video, which is filmed in the underpass in Tonypandy, features Tai and his friends from school, Ollie Hutchings, Callum Coleman, Luca Hughes, Jack Jenkins and Logan Roberts. it starts off with Ollie, introducing the video with a joke, saying the video is "sponsored by Ribena", Tai then breaks out in song with the other boys dancing and hyping him up.
Tai, who plays for Ton and Gelli football team and was also selected to play for Academy, said he wants to be a football player but wouldn't mind being a singer. He said that everyone in school knows about the TikTok videos and they all think it is good, including his teachers.
Mam Jade only found out about the videos this week after her former boss called her up and told her he had seen them. She said she couldn't believe it. "They are a good group of boys, they don't go out to cause trouble, its great to see them doing stuff like this. They play football and rugby and now make these videos," she joked.
"I am so proud of him, everyone is so proud of him."
