The unusual Michael Beale Rangers quirk that features as part of unbeaten start to life at Ibrox

Rangers are unbeaten under Michael Beale as the new Light Blues boss is finding his feet in Glasgow.

It seemed the natural choice to appoint the Englishman after the news broke that Gio Van Bronckhorst's year-long tenure was coming to an end following poor results in domestic and European action. The former Ibrox coach became the main man last month and has so far remained without a defeat in his opening six league games.

There have been highs and lows so far for the Rangers head honcho from dramatic 3-2 games against Hibernian and Aberdeen to more comfortable showings against Ross County and Motherwell. Beale's first foray in to the Old Firm derby as manager ended in a stalemate as the relatively-inexperienced manager went toe-to-toe with Ange Postecoglou.

And incidentally, it has been a varied palette in terms of fixtures for the former QPR coach who has managed a game so far on every day of the week. It all started with a friendly win over Bayer Leverkusen on a Saturday afternoon last month, while midweek encounters on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have all come in the league with of course the Manic Monday of an derby with Celtic last week.

Sunday's win over Dundee United completed a perfect seven as Beale previously spoke of his hectic schedule from the off at Ibrox, but with just over half of the season left to play the new Rangers boss will be jam-packed with games to come.
