Two Welsh family homes have made it onto the list of the top ten most viewed in the UK for July 2022. Amongst million pound properties in London - including a £55 million house in the heart of Mayfair - two four bedroom properties ideal for families were among the most popular.
With many people spending their time scrolling through property sites for a nose at their dream home, rather than actively searching for a property, it doesn't come as a surprise when million pound mansions in central London appear as the most viewed home in the UK. This time, however, a Llanelli property topped the list on Zoopla last month - alongside a four-bedroom family home near Neath. With properties such as these appearing on the list of the most viewed in the UK, it suggests that many people using property portals are indeed not just browsing dream homes but actually hunting for their new or first home.

The list also suggests the thought that, as a result predominantly of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are looking for more space and more privacy, with many of the homes being viewed falling into the four-bed, detached category. Five of the top properties viewed on Zoopla in July 2022 were detached, of which three had four bedrooms, one had six, and one had three.
Two of the Welsh properties - including a four bedroom detached family home - were among the cheapest on the list. This property was second on the most viewed list for July, with Sullivans estate agents accepting offers over £340,000. The detached house is located in the village of Jersey Marine, on the outskirts of Neath.
Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, the house is actually just a short drive from the M4 via the A483 and the nearest primary school less than half a mile away. With modern features throughout, including an impressive 'media wall' and fire place in the living room, the house has a contemporary feel.
Built in 2014, the home is set over two floors and has plenty of living space for a family, with four bedrooms - and an ensuite to the master bedroom - a first floor bathroom, open-plan kitchen and diner, and a lounge. A utilities room and a cloakroom offer even more space for storage.
The garden to the rear of the property also offers an area for entertaining or for children to play, with low maintenance artificial grass and a composite decking area. The home is on the market for offers over £340,000 with Sullivans Estate Agents. Call 01792 738040 to find out more.
Meanwhile, the most viewed on the Zoopla list was another Welsh property, this time near Llanelli. Another four bedroom detached house, this property has a contemporary feel and was listed for the first time on Zoopla at the start of July this year. Sold subject to contract, the house was priced at £620,000.
The house has modern features throughout and has been finished to a high standard with no work needed. Despite being located just a short drive from the A4138, the property offers beautiful views to the Loughor Estuary and beyond. The master bedroom's balcony with its vaulted roof allows you to make the most of these views.
In addition to the beautiful balcony, the bedroom has a walk in wardrobe, that provides access to the loft, and an ensuite with a walk-in shower. The ground floor also houses a home gym, which could work as a second home office in addition to the study, which is also on the ground floor.
The house is spacious, with a large kitchen, dining, and living area on the ground floor fitted with wooden flooring and a kitchen island. From here, an oak wooden staircase leads to the first floor where the spaciousness continues, with a large and bright landing area, which benefits from large floor to ceiling windows.
There's also a well-presented outdoor area, with an elevated patio, lawn and a further decking area, providing plenty of space for entertaining outside. The property, located in the Bryn area of Llanelli, has been sold subject to contract and was on the market with Dawsons, Llanelli.
