Kieran Tierney's potential return to Celtic is well in the works, although there are a few intriguing caveats.
The Scottish Premiership champions are, according to Sky Sports, close to agreeing a pre-contract with the left-back, which would see him move back to Glasgow's east end in the summer.
However, the possibility of a return this month, though, hasn't been ruled out.
Indeed, should Brendan Rodgers' men qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League by beating Young Boys next Wednesday evening, Tierney could swap North London for Parkhead in a loan deal by the end of the current transfer window.
It's also thought any move for Alex Valle to leave Celtic for Como hinges on whether Tierney returns to Glasgow this month.
Tierney, 27, made 170 appearances for his boyhood club before departing for Arsenal in a then-record £25m deal in the summer of 2019.

He has since fallen out of favour at the Emirates Arena, though, and has registered just two senior appearances across all competitions this campaign. A return to familiar surroundings could galvanise and potentially rejuvenate Tierney's career, which, at least in recent seasons, hasn't particularly gone to plan. He would provide a long-term solution for his old manager, Rodgers, at left-back and look to build on the 11 major trophies he's already won in green and white, should a return transpire.
