The two Liverpool players Jurgen Klopp will be without for Premier League showdown vs Arsenal

Arsenal and Liverpool each have injury concerns ahead of locking horns at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night in a huge match at the top of the Premier League table. For the Gunners, a victory will see them open up a four-point gap over Manchester United in the race for Champions League qualification and they'll also be just five points behind London rivals Chelsea having played one game fewer.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to capitalise on Manchester City's goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night as they can move to within a point of the league leaders with a win over Arsenal. But for Jurgen Klopp's side to complete a Premier League double over the Gunners - as well as winning at the Emirates for the second time this season - they'll have to do so without James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday morning, Klopp revealed the two Liverpool players who won't be travelling to London. However, he did confirm Ibrahima Konate is available for selection.

"Ibou is back," the German tactician said. "Millie and Kostas, I understand in this moment, are out, and that's it." As a result Klopp is likely to have a near fully strength squad to choose from.

This includes Mohamed Salah who emerged as a doubt after sustaining a knock during the 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, but the signs are that he will make the matchday squad.

"Looks like," Klopp replied when asked if Salah will be available to face Arsenal. “Mo is a tough cookie and he was only a little bit cut, we were quite lucky with it.

"It was swollen, painful, yesterday a little less swollen, less painful. Now I got the message before the press conference that Mo is ready to train and we will see how that looks."

Salah, the leading scorer in the Premier League, scored in the reverse fixture against Arsenal back in November as the hosts ran out 4-0 winners and him being available is certainly a massive boost for the Reds.
