The two Celtic players 'under pressure' in Rangers clash

Andy Walker reckons two Celtic players will come under pressure against Rangers on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou will lead his side to Ibrox to take on Rangers one week on from sealing the Scottish Premiership title.

However, he will be without Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers for the match.

The pair are out injured for the trip across Glasgow meaning Anthony Ralston and Yuki Kobayashi are expected to step into the starting line-up.

And Walker reckons the duo could be "under pressure" to perform at Ibrox in their chance to impress.

On the Go Radio Football Show, Walker explained: "Celtic are settled, slick, they play a good style of football and you know you are going to get plenty of energy everywhere on the pitch.

"Maybe the one player who will be under pressure is Kobayashi, as he's taken the place of such a brilliant defender in Carter-Vickers.

"He will come under a bit of pressure, as will Ralston, as they have just come back into the team."

On Carter-Vickers' injury, Postecoglou said after the win over Rangers at Hampden: "That's Cameron Carter-Vickers last game of the year. He's been carrying an injury for I don't know how long.

"We'll put him out to pasture for a little bit now."

And pressed on Johnston's knock against Rangers, Postecoglou said at the time: "He got a sore one for him to come off. He was waving the crutches about so he seemed alright afterwards but you know what it is like, they feel no pain at full-time.

"We will have a look at it but that is the beauty of our squad, Anthony Ralston comes in and he has not played for that long and he did a fantastic job for us. It has been a squad effort since day."
