Swansea City will be hoping to see out the current season on a high, but it's clear they remain a work in progress under Russell Martin.
The timing of Martin's appointment last summer meant he perhaps didn't have as much chance to mould his squad as he would have liked heading into his first campaign at the helm, and the chance set the tone for next term with a full pre-season will no doubt be an attractive proposition for everyone. You can read more about the head coach's transfer priorities here.
Bringing everyone up to speed will be a key challenge, but there are decisions to be made on personnel too. There are some players who will certainly be a big part of his upcoming plans, while others are likely to be shown the door before the summer is over.

Here, we run the rule over every Swans player and their current transfer status ahead of the summer window.
Andy Fisher
Has established himself as Martin's number one, with his distribution from the back seen as a key asset in the implementation of his methods.
Transfer status: The Swans are understood to be eyeing up a new goalkeeper in the summer, but Fisher is nevertheless likely to remain the number one.
Ben Hamer
Having started out as the number one, has found game-time hard to come by since Fisher's arrival, and the arrival of a new keeper could deal a fresh setback to his first team chances.
Transfer status: Current deal runs out this summer and, after being usurped as first choice, it may be time to move on.
Steven Benda
Currently on loan at Peterborough United after falling behind Hamer in the pecking order. Has played 11 times for the Posh.
Transfer status: Will likely be moved on, particularly if another keeper is brought on board.
Ben Cabango
Has frequently found himself on the end of praise from Martin in recent weeks after a series of impressive performances.
Transfer status: Likely to be seen as a key part of the plan for next season. Would only be sold were a hefty offer to come in.

Joel Latibeaudiere
Hasn't always found game-time too easy to come by, and was subsequently the subject of loan interest from elsewhere in January. Nevertheless his versatility is clearly highly valued by Martin.
Transfer status: Could potentially be moved on if competition for places increases, but otherwise likely to be viewed as an important squad player.
Kyle Naughton
A hugely important player both on and off the pitch for Martin, who's heaped praise on the veteran on several occasions this term, and has already admitted he would like to extend the full-back's contract for another year.
Transfer status: There's some work to do, but he will surely be around for next season.
Ryan Bennett
One of the more experienced defensive options available to Martin, but has found game-time hard to come by in recent weeks, particularly in light of the arrival of Fin Burns and the return to fitness of Kyle Naughton.
Transfer status: Is currently one of the higher earners and, given his lack of recent game-time, there could well be a decision to be made.
Ryan Manning
One of the first names on the team sheet at present. An impressive presence at left-back, he can also operate further up the pitch.
Transfer status: Staying with the Swans.
Finley Burns
Has been the subject of praise from Martin, but hasn't quite managed to get himself up to full speed yet. Nevertheless, it's likely he will get an opportunity to shine again before the end of the current campaign
Transfer status: Will head back to Man City at the end of the season. Swans could potentially be interested in another spell if terms are right.
Nathanael Ogbeta
Injury means his first team opportunities have been limited, but Martin clearly believes the full-back has a bright future at the club.
Transfer status: Almost nailed on to stay.
Cyrus Christie
Has emerged as an important player since his January arrival. Already one of Martin's most trusted options out wide.
Transfer status: A free agent this summer, there's clearly some enthusiasm from both parties to explore the feasibility of a permanent move.
Brandon Cooper
Showed plenty of positive signs in the early days of the Martin era before being overtaken by more experienced players. Remains a highly-rated prospect, but has sadly seen his loan spell at Swindon Town cut short by a knee injury.
Transfer status: Will be interesting to see what the plan will be for the 22-year-old. Clearly has a real long-term future at the Swans, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him shipped out on loan again.
Yan Dhanda
Doesn't look to be a part of Martin's long-term plans. Not played a league game since August.
Transfer status: Out of contract this summer. Will almost certainly be allowed to leave.
Olivier Ntcham
The Cameroon international has sometimes been criticised for inconsistency, but clearly possesses immense quality. Martin himself seems to be a big fan of his abilities.
Transfer status: Staying.
Korey Smith
Remains a very important part of the first team set-up. His recent impressive outings at left-back have only further heightened his stock.
Transfer status: Out of contract at the end of the season, but Martin would clearly like to keep him on board.
Matt Grimes
The captain dominates passing statistics, and has proven himself as a worthy leader out on the pitch week in, week out. If he's fit, he starts.
Transfer status: Will always attract interest, but unless the club receive an offer too good to turn down, he won't be going anywhere.
Jay Fulton
Has gone from prominent first team mainstay to occasional appearance off the bench. Still has something to offer, but remains down the pecking order.
Transfer status: Seems to be up for sale ahead of the summer.
Hannes Wolf
Has shown real genuine glimpses of quality, but there's a feeling we still haven't quite seen the best of him a Swansea shirt. Currently out with a hamstring injury.
Transfer status: Will head back to Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of the season.
Liam Walsh
Hamstring injury put his Swans career on the back foot early on. Was part of a few match day squads this term, but few were surprised to see him shipped out on loan.
Transfer status: Will be assessed when he returns from the Tigers, but could well become a squad player, depending on recruitment.
Jamie Paterson
The January contract dispute aside, his stay at SA1 has been a huge success so far. Has bagged a total of nine goals and seven assists.
Transfer status: His contract terms could well be the subject of discussion again in the summer, but there's little appetite for him to leave.
Flynn Downes
Recent performances have seen his reputation soar in the last few weeks, as demonstrated by links with Leeds United.
Transfer status: Will continue to attract interest, but with his deal running until 2025, it would take a pretty sizeable transfer fee to convince the Swans to let him go.
Who should Swansea let go this summer? Have you say in the comments section below
Liam Cullen
Made seven starts for Lincoln City since his January loan move. Netted one goal in that time.
Transfer status: Will likely be assessed again, but with both Michael Obafemi and Joel Piroe the preferred options up front, he could be considered for another loan spell.
Morgan Whittaker
The 20-year-old didn't seem to fit too well into Martin's plans, but clearly has some attributes that could render him a useful option in future. Currently out on loan with Cullen at Lincoln.
Transfer status: As above really.
Michael Obafemi
After a stuttering start to his career, his Swansea career has finally lifted off. Has bagged six goals in his last 10 games.
Transfer status: Seems to be enjoying life in south Wales now. Will likely be a key man next term.
Kyle Joseph
Did reasonably well on loan at Cheltenham Town during the first half of the season, netting five goals in 22 appearances. Has returned to make a few outings off the bench, but is clearly behind others in the pecking order.
Transfer status: Another stint away for more game time wouldn't be a surprise.
Jordon Garrick
Currently plying his trade at Plymouth Argyle and enjoying reasonable success, finding the scoresheet seven times in all competitions. Might well be one that Martin will be keen to take a closer look at this summer.
Transfer status: Has another year left to run on his current deal, so a big decision on his long-term future is just around the corner.
Joel Piroe
The Dutchman has emerged as Swansea's main striker this season, and is well on his way to fulfilling the 20-goal target recently set to himself.
Transfer status: Would take a very large bid to tempt the Swans, but he will certainly feel he's capable of playing at a higher level. For now, though, he is likely to lead the Swans attack again next season.
