Those tuning in to the finale of The Traitors were left with their jaws on the floor. Faithfuls Aaron Evans, Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams stormed to victory during Thursday (December 22) night's final of the BBC game show, as reported by The Mirror.
Traitors Wilfred Webster and Kieran Tompsett were the only contestants sent home without a share of the £101,050 prize fund. Aaron, Hannah and Meryl each got an equal share of the cash after a close final.
Wilfred almost made it before being caught out as he as Kieran turned on him. Kieran was banished during the last round of the roundtable, but left with a cryptic "parting gift" message about Wilfred. He revealed to the others that he thought Wilf was a traitor.

Claudia later revealed that the final four had to decide if they believed there wasn't anymore more Traitors left. Meryl and Wilfred decided everyone was a Faithful, however, Hannah and Aaron thought there was still one in the gang.
After another round of voting, Wilf was finally exposed after the remaining faithfuls voted him as a traitor. Fans rushed to social media to air their thoughts on the dramatic episode.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "I'm not shocked. I knew the Faithfuls could do it." Another said: "I'm so disappointed that The Traitors is over." While a third added: "Loved The Traitors - perfect end to a brilliant game played so well by a cracking bunch of people! Well done all!"
The Traitors is set to return for a second series. The BBC has reportedly struck a deal with production company Studio Lambert to bring the game show back for another run next year.
