The Traitors fans spot 'clue' Wilfred Webster has win in the bag as he shares sweet wedding photo

The Traitors viewers think they may have worked out who wins the game of trust and treachery ahead of tonight's grand final as one contestant shared a 'clue' on Instagram.

Set in a remote castle in Scotland, the unique series sees contestants undergo a series of challenges to win a cash prize as they try to work out who among them is a 'traitor' before they have the chance to steal the whole sum. The BBC show proved to be an instant hit, with a second series expected to be announced after tonight's tense finale that will see Wilfred, Aaron, Hannah, Kieran and Meryl undergo their final challenges for the life-changing prize money.

Contestant - and traitor - Wilfred Webster has won viewers over, and they will find out if the 28-year-old has also won the series in tonight's final episode - but some fans claim to have spotted 'clues' on Wilf's Instagram page that hint he has the victory in the bag. The charity fundraiser from Peterborough often shares sweet snaps of his picture-perfect family life on the social media platform, and it's within these that viewers believe he may have given away that he took home the mega cash prize which most recently stood at £81,050.

Wilf now lives in north London with his wife Panayiota and his children, The Mirror reports. Speaking ahead of appearing on The Traitors, he said: "My motivation is many different things. My children and my fiancée being number one, and I’d also like to see if I can persuade people and slowly manipulate them."

Before heading into the castle, Wilf also shared telling remarks about what he would do with the prize money if he won. "I have a vision and a dream of where I want to be in five or ten year’s time, and that’s owning a gym and a safe space for young people to come to," he said.

"I also want to do a counselling and psychology degree so that I’m able to counsel young people through sports. That for me was the main reason why I came on the show. I will always achieve that; I’ll always do it, it will just be a fast forward that makes it a lot easier for me to do that."

But crucially, Wilf also added: "Also, I’d be able to clear all our wedding debt, and we’re going through a financial struggle as a country so to be able to take a bit of pressure of me and my wife, which would really help."

Wilf and Panayiota got married in September, with Wilf sharing a beautiful snap of the pair in their wedding finery cutting into the cake. He also posted a picture of the two newlyweds enjoying a 'mini-moon' in Cyprus after their big day - which some fans took to mean he may have recently come into some money.

"Omg, does this mean he won? I hope so!" one person commented on the snap.

However, a different photo cast doubt on the speculation as Wilf shared his disappointment at his wedding cake. Posting a picture of a stunning cake alongside the photo of his and Panayiota's version, which looked messy and lopsided by comparison, he wrote: "The cake we ordered and the cake we got," alongside laughing emojis.

A fan joked in the comments section: "Maybe you didn't win the money then!"
