The Tennis WAGs We’re Following For The Best Courtside Fashion During The AO

Friends, it’s that time of the year when I’m reminded that tennis is, in fact, a very well-loved sport. Despite being one of the only sports pretty much played year-round, the Australian Open reminds us just how enjoyable it is to watch our athletes chase after a fuzzy yellow ball.

Personally, I’m more interested in what’s happening courtside. What are the WAGs or TWAGs (Tennis WAGs) wearing? How much of what they’re wearing can I actually afford to buy? And, not to make this about the men, but can their partners please stay in longer so the ladies can keep serving?

Now, I’m not calling them “such and suches girlfriend”, or just TWAGS, they are all successful (and stylish) in their own right and just happen to be dating or engaged to tennis players, IMO. Sure, who they date may have boosted their profiles in some cases, but these ladies are out there making bank from their courtside (or on-court) lifestyles, and we’re here for it.

You’ve got women like Paige Lorenzo, who owns two very successful businesses and happens to also date American Pro Tommy Paul. Then there’s Sophia Thomalla, who is a successful actress and TV host and dating world number two, Alexander Zverev.

Naturally, a few of the TWAGs are also big-time influencers, including Morgan Riddle, girlfriend of American tennis pro Taylor Fritz, Costeen Hatzi, long-term girlfriend of Australia’s own Nick Kyrgios, and Ivana Nedved, Sebastian Korda’s girlfriend.

Some of them are actually serving both on and off the court as tennis pros themselves. Yep, a few players have found someone who could be their mixed doubles partners IRL, including ex-tennis player (now influencer) Ayan Broomfield (dating Frances Tiafoe), Anna Kalinskaya (Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend) and Katie Boulter (Alex De Minaur’s fiancée).

The best part about these girlies is that they’re for the girls. There’s no gatekeeping. They’re typically wearing affordable outfits and styling with more expensive pieces like designer handbags, shoes and sunglasses. So, if you want to copy their look, it’s actually somewhat achievable without breaking the bank.

Costeen Hatzi

A few days into the AO and Costeen is already serving up some absolute looks from Australian fashion labels like Viktoria and Woods and Selfie Leslie.

Find Costeen Hatzi on Instagram and TikTok.

Morgan Riddle

Anytime Morgs posts a Tennis GRWM on TikTok, we’re sat. She’s usually always shopping affordable brands; many are Aussie faves like I Am Delilah, WhiteFox, Princess Polly, and more.

Paige Lorenzo

If you’ve been following Paige since her OG Dairy Boy days, you know that she’s always been stylish as hell. Since joining the tennis circuit alongside her boyfriend, her looks have taken up residency on our Pinterest boards. She often wears a mix of affordable and designer brands like With Harper Lu, Mirror Palais, Matthew Bruch, Nike, and Self Portrait.

Ayan Broomfield

If the brief is chic, playful, and edgy, Ayan’s courtside looks win every set. She’s been spotted in Aussie brand Scanlan Theodore — twice. We love it when international influencers wear and support Aussie brands. Ayan has seriously good style, so we’d suggest following her to see all her looks from the AO and more.

Anna Kalinskaya

Now, you probably won’t be catching Anna’s courtside looks because she’s too booked and busy tearing it up on the actual court. Yes, that’s right — she’s a tennis pro herself and technically a ‘TWAG’.

It appears she’s had to pull out of the Australian Open but will be at the Singapore Tennis Open later in January.

When she’s not playing tennis or training, she’s showing her 414k followers her iconic style on Instagram. She’s definitely worth a follow if you’re not already.

Katie Boulter

Katie claims to be “Travelling the world to hit a fuzzy yellow thing,” but the tennis star is doing more than just that both on and off the court. She’s giving her 287k Instagram followers an insight into everything from her training sessions to her personal style.

She’s currently tearing up the court after making it through to the second round of the AO.

Find Katie Boulter on Instagram and at the Australian Open later today (Jan 16) against Veronika Kudermetova.

Tennis WAG's

Ivana Nedved

Ivana is lucky enough to travel the world alongside her pro tennis player partner. Her iconic Instagram bio is literally, “I travel a lot and wear cute outfits”. Yes, yes, she does. While Ivana has yet to share her outfits to the IG grid, her stories tell us she’s also been sporting Aussie fashion brands while Down Under, including Melbourne’s own Henne.

Sophia Thomalla

Sohpia’s style is unreal since she’s always in the public eye for both work and on Instagram (she has 1.4 million followers!!). So far, she’s yet to share any of her matches ‘fits on IG, only sneak peeks into her laid-back wardrobe as she travels around Aus (cute Quokka pics included).

Given she’s dating world number two, Alexander Zverev, we’re guessing if we smash that follow button, we’re going to see some match-day looks in the coming days and weeks.

Now, these are just the Tennis WAGs we could find attending this year’s Australian Open. If you spot any more in the stands, let us know. We’re keen to keep up with all the courtside chic.
