The emotional moment singer Anastacia gave the spotlight to a fan to propose in her Cardiff show

A touching moment was captured during a gig in Cardiff this week. During an Anastacia concert, which took place in the capital's St David's Hall on November 6, a lucky fan was given the opportunity to propose to his boyfriend in front of a packed crowd.

Entertainer, Gavin Sheppard from Cardiff, was given a mic by the singer during the middle of her show. In front of a full audience, Gavin emotionally took to one knee to pop the question. Fighting tears he said: "Luke you're my safe place, my go to and my shelter. And, I love you with every little piece of me. Will you marry me?"

The video shows the crowd roar as he asked the question and people were welling up with tears as the pair officially became engaged. Singer Anastacia could be seen holding her own but was clearly emotional. She said: "I knew about this for a while. He contacted about six months ago, and I was like 'f**k yea'." The singer presented the couple with a signed picture willing them well wishes before proceeding to continue with the concert.
