The Swansea City v Coventry City player ratings as subs make stunning impact in brilliant comeback

STEVEN BENDA 7

Read play well time and time again to deny Coventry in the first half. Helpless with Jonathan Panzo's bullet header but played out from the back well too. Could only watch Jamie Allen's stunning effort fly into the net and well beaten by Viktor Gyokeres.

NATHAN WOOD 6

Was largely good in possession and made a number of defensive interventions. A tad nervy at times but stuck to what his manager has asked of him.

KYLE NAUGHTON 5

Playing so high up the pitch once again but offered precious little in attack. Subbed.

BEN CABANGO 6

Made a number of timely clearances and had a really tough battle with Gyokeres.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 5

Made a couple of decent clearances but nothing spectacular, in truth. Withdrawn as Swansea pushed.

JAY FULTON 6

Decent on the ball throughout and really pushed in the final stages, pouncing on a loose ball to rifle home his side's second before being subbed.

MATT GRIMES 6

As is often the case, the captain looked the most likely to open up Coventry with his range of passing. Sublime ball to Joel Piroe in the build-up to Liam Cullen's effort. Made some key defensive challenges too.

RYAN MANNING 7

Fairly quiet in the first half but came to life late on. Great assist for Piroe and was pivotal in the build-up to Jay Fulton's strike.

JAMIE PATERSON 5

Lining up against his hometown club, Paterson had two efforts blocked in the first half but didn't really trouble the Sky Blues.

OLIVIER NTCHAM 5

Back in the starting line-up, the Cameroon star continuously dropped deep to get on the ball. Ticked things over well enough without doing any damage in attacking areas.

JOEL PIROE 6

Completely mis-hit an early effort and fired a tame free-kick at Ben Wilson in another off colour display up until his goal which gave his side a lifeline. Looked transformed after that.

Subs

Ollie Cooper (for Paterson) - Gave Swansea a huge lift in the final third with his directness and energy. 7

Armstrong Oko-Flex (for Latibeaudiere) - As above in many ways. Should have scored before Jay Fulton lashed home. 6

Joe Allen (for Ntcham) - Such a positive showing from the Welsh international who played an enormous role in shifting Coventry's defence around the pitch. Great impact. 7

Harry Darling (for Naughton) - Did well against Gyokeres and ticked things over nicely. 6

Liam Cullen (for Fulton) - In the right place to prod home the equaliser. 7
