The Suspect: Catherine McCain's killer is finally revealed in explosive finale

The Suspect viewers praised a 'phenomenal' finale tonight on ITV as Catherine McCain's killer was finally revealed.

Fans couldn't believe the "shock" spin during this evening's fifth and final episode of Aidan Turner hit-television crime drama.

The programme, which follows Aidan's character psychologist Dr Joe O'Loughlin, concluded tonight after a short series of episodes which left viewers on the edge of their seats.

In the series finale, it was revealed DJ the plumber killed Catherine McCain and several others after feeling immense guilty over leaving Bobby, who turned out to be his brother, to be abused by their mother.

The two brothers worked together to frame Joe for the killings, after Joe mistakenly accused Bobby's dad of abusing his son, instead of his mum. Bobby's dad went on to take his own life.

Bobby researched those involved in his dad's case and decided to reap his revenge.
