The Surreal Life returns with Dennis Rodman, Stormy Daniels and Frankie Muniz

Hit celebrity TV show The Surreal Life is returning after 16 years off air.

The VH1 programme, very similar to Celebrity Big Brother, is coming back to screens this month after it was last seen on television in 2006.

It first aired in 2003 and saw celebrities, including Gabrielle Carteris, MC Hammer, Corey Feldman, Emmanuel Lewis, Jerri Manthey, Vince Neil and Brande Roderick, live together in a mansion.

The famous faces would live independently in the posh home and were often seen engaging in explosive rows as their egos came to blows.

Now the hugely popular show is coming back to VH1 with back-to-back episodes later this month with an all-star cast including Dennis Rodman, Stormy Daniels and Frankie Muniz.

Season seven of The Surreal Life will premiere on October 24 (VH1)

The trio will be joined by singer and Celebrity Big Brother star Tamar Braxton, fellow musician August Alsina - who is rumoured to have had an affair with Jada Pinkett Smith, YouTuber and make-up artist Manny Mua, Pay It Off game show host and comedian Kim Coles and professional WWE wrestler C.J. Perry.

"People just know me as the girl who f***ed Trump," Stormy, 43, tells the group of stars in a preview for the new reboot show.

Real name Stephanie Gregory Clifford, the adult film star was involved in a legal dispute with former US President Donald Trump, 76, and his former attorney Michael Cohen in 2018.

"A teammate f***ed my wife. And I had to play a game that f***ing night!" former NBA star Dennis, 61, says to his new housemates in the show's preview.

It kicks off with Dennis Rodman, Stormy Daniels and Frankie Muniz (VH1)

Other iconic seasons of The Surreal Life included celebrities such as Erik Estrada, Ron Jeremy, Vanilla Ice, Charo and Flavor Flav.

Christopher Knight, Verne Troyer, Janice Dickinson, Bronson Pinchot and the late Tawny Kitaen have also been housemates on the hit-US TV show.

Season six concluded in May 2006 and network bosses announced that a reboot was in the works in July earlier last year – all previous seasons are currently able to stream on Paramount+.

Season seven of The Surreal Life will premiere on October 24 on VH1.
