A popular spot in North Berwick with stunning views out to the Firth of Forth is launching an exciting new space which is perfect for al fresco dining.
This spring, The Lawn at Marine North Berwick is launching its idyllic garden with a month full of BBQ and al fresco dining events, as well as a magical outdoor cinema.
The team say the new al fesco dining menu has been designed to delight guests with a selection of seasonal snacks, starters and large plates from the BBQ, which they say are "great for sharing with friends and family on a sunny afternoon".
From sharing starters to chargrilled burgers to loaded hotdogs, the menu comprises of fresh takes on BBQ favourites, including a variety of vegan and vegetarian options.

The Lawn’s BBQ menu will be available every Sunday (weather permitting) from sharing starters to chargrilled burgers to loaded hotdogs, the menu comprises of fresh takes on BBQ favourites, including a variety of vegan and vegetarian options.
There will also be a selection of summery spritzes and classic cocktails on offer from the hotel’s bar team, as well as a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails.
They added that tables will be for walk-ins only, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to grab the best spot.
Four-legged friends are welcome as The Lawn’s garden is dog friendly with water bowls provided to keep pooches hydrated.
On Saturday evenings between 5 pm - 8 pm, the garden will come alive with music from an array of local musicians and vocalists – the perfect place for an aperitif before heading into The Lawn restaurant for dinner.
During the last weekend in May, Marine North Berwick will host ‘Movies on the Lawn’, an outdoor cinema screening Top Gun Maverick and Mamma Mia under the stars.
Guests can enjoy fantastic BBQ food and ice cream from St Luca’s Ice Cream truck before settling in for an evening of movie magic.
Tickets will be available to buy from the website, priced from £18 pp. The screenings will be a public event but all audio will be on personal over-ear headphones and food packages are bookable in advance.
As well as the celebrations, there will also be a chance to enjoy Father’s Day fun on Sunday, June 18, The Lawn with a Putt and BBQ offering and the chance for the whole family to enjoy delicious food and drink whilst challenging dad to a round of golf on the hotel’s putting green.
Rounding off their exciting summer season schedule, The Lawn and Marine North Berwick say they will host a 2nd Birthday on September 7. Cocktails and canapés will be served for all to enjoy alongside live music and family-friendly activities.
