The first trailer for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad has finally arrived.
Written and directed by Gunn, the forthcoming film will serve as a follow-up to the 2016 movie Suicide Squad.
The film’s ensemble cast includes the likes of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, American actor and former WWE wrestler John Cena as the Peacemaker, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
The newly released three-minute clip sees the anti-hero gang reunited and causing trouble.
It opens with the group plotting a high-stakes rescue operation for Robbie’s Harley Quinn only to discover that she has already escaped capture without their help.
