There's something magical about this time of year, with the nights drawing in and the arrival of the intense colours of autumn. Those looking for an extra layer of magic will find what they are looking for in Faskally Wood in Perthshire.
Each year, this beautiful woodland is transformed into the Enchanted Forest, a stunning light and sound show that is incredibly fun for all of the family.
Considered to be one of the best in the UK, the Enchanted Forest is now back for its 20th year and has won an army of fans over the years and sees guests taken on an ethereal journey through a woodland lit up by an array of vibrant colours.
Blending light, video and sound, with motion-tracking projections, the inspirational show is designed to bring friends and families closer together under the banner of this year's theme, "Together".
Running from September 29 to October 30, it is hoped this year's theme will reflect the return to normality after such an enforced time apart during the pandemic.

The organisers are keen to point out that they support the ecology of Faskally Wood, which is vitally important to the continued success of The Enchanted Forest.
They added: "We have always been keen to ensure that the event has minimal impact on the beautiful environment in which we operate, and the wildlife who call Faskally Wood their home."
Where is the Enchanted Forest?
Each year, this wonderful event takes place at Loch Dunmore Faskally Wood, which is just outside of the Perthshire town of Pitlochry. The main A9 trunk road takes you directly to the town, where you can park and get a shuttle bus to the forest as there is no dedicated parking at the site.

You can find the tickets for this event here. There are dates throughout the month of October, including autism-friendly performances.
Child Under 3 go free, while Adult tickets are £24, kids 3-15 are £13.50 and family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are available for £67.50.
What will you see and do?
Guests can enjoy playing with interactive installations which change and adapt how the forest looks, while the Cathedral of Light is a spectacular walks filled with beautiful displays and lasers. Interactive installations such as Together Alive and Off the Wall are stunning light and sound displays that transport you to another world.
Is there food and drink?
There are food and drink stalls offering wood-fired pizza, gourmet burgers and fries, while the Love Churros stall will have marshmallows for toasting over a firepit.
