Just over nine years ago, The Stanley Parable came out and devilishly told us a story of some poor sod’s worst workday ever. Now, a re-reimaging with loads of new content is about to retell the tale.
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe will release on April 27, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Originally conceived as a simple console port, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe essentially adds a full-on expansion onto the cult-classic indie darling. So even if you played it back in the day, there’s tons of new content in this release.

Details on the Ultra Deluxe’s new content are light, but that’s probably for the best. Part of what makes The Stanley Parable special is how it tosses your brain in a washing machine and presses the “spin cycle” button. It’s the same sort of surrealistic appeal that NieR: Automata or Life is Strange have.
It’s particularly exciting that The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is also coming to consoles since the old release was only on PC.
