The Spice Girls are reuniting for a tell-all docuseries with Emmy-winning director, Jason Mehir.
After their hugely successful stadium tour which saw the Spice Girls sell out 13 dates across the UK, the girls are back with another nostalgic career move. Mel B, known affectionately as Scary Spice, has confirmed the group will be reuniting for a docuseries to look back at their most iconic moments and spill never before heard secrets.
Speaking to Australian outlet The Project, Mel said: "I told Dave [Hughes, fellow The Masked Singer Australia panellist] when the cameras were off that we've signed our documentary to the guys that did The Last Dance, and he went and told the whole audience. I think I did say 'we've only just signed it, it hasn't been announced yet,' and then he told everyone."

The series will take the same form as The Last Dance, a documentary critically acclaimed for its coverage of basketball legend Michael Jordan. The show went on to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.
Praising their director, Mel added: "The whole concept of how that was shot and filmed was really, really, really, really good; so we'll be doing our own version with him."
Sharing an example of what fans can expect storywise, Mel said: "The rap in the Wannabe video, I actually wrote on the toilet while the other girls were doing the vocals." The docuseries will be their first official TV project since 2007 BBC reunion documentary Giving You Everything and 2012's The Spice Girls Story: Viva Forever!
