Star of The Sopranos and trained chef Joseph R Gannascoli is to "take over" Hen's Teeth in Dublin 8 for a special Italian inspired foodie event.
The actor, who played Vito Spatafore in the popular series, is a trained chef and is gearing up to "throw down in the kitchen" of the venue on April 20 and 21.
Announcing the take over, Hen's Teeth wrote: "Hen's Teeth will be transformed into an Italian trattoria just like mamma did by Soprano's legend Joe Gannascoli."
Guests can expect to be treated to three courses of food cooked by Joe and the Hen's Teeth team, as well as natural Italian wines and "whatever stories Joe has in the clip about his Sopranos days".
What's on the menu? Hungry Dubs will have the chance to enjoy Joe's speciality cheese wheel carbonara before the after-dinner talk with Joe himself.
"Joe doesn't f*** with the classics, and for 48 hours neither do we," Hen's Teeth wrote on Instagram.
Taking to his own social media, Joe told Dubs to come for the craic which will be had "Brooklyn style".
Joe appeared in films including Mickey Blue Eyes and shows such as Law & Order before appearing in The Sopranos.
The star was a professional chef before he dove into the world of acting. He opened his restaurant Soup As Art Restaurant in Brooklyn and has also worked as a chef in New Orleans and Los Angeles.
Joe has been open about his love for Ireland in the past. Last year, the actor sent a rather explicit message to Dundalk FC ahead of a match against Shamrock Rovers.
In the short clip, Joe donned a Dundalk jersey and told the team: "I heard you're playing the shams in the greatest f****** league in the world.
"Bring it home and show them who the f*** is boss."
Tickets for Joe's takeover at Hen's Teeth cost €75 and are available here.
