In what may be the biggest and most wicked content update yet for the game, the Cult of the Lamb is set to extend its tendrils even further with blasphemous beneficence of quests, features, and improvements. The Sins of the Flesh is set to offer loyal followers some truly worldly pleasures. This free update is coming out on January 16.
If you're one of those who have yet to try the game, there's good news. When the update goes live, Cult of the Lamb is going to be offered at 40% discount from January 16 to January 23.
The Sinful Path
One of the new features to be introduced with the update is the new progression systems which adds not only depth but even complexity especially when it comes to managing the Cult of the Lamb. By offering them a sinful path, followers are sure to delight in gluttonous rituals, vain buildings and even wrathful doctrines. Get ready to invite the most loyal of followers to the inner circle of Disciples, which is a revamped levelling system of Follower progression.
A Better Life
There are different ways to improve the busy Cult life. There are the bigger and better buildings along with the baneful brooms. There's what's known as shiny poops which come with special effects. For brooms meanwhile, levelling them up allows chores to be done faster and more effective. Janitor Station and Storage Structures offer a new tier to allow Followers to take better care of themselves.
Blast Away
The new update also adds a new Blunderbuss weapon which should make blasting heretics away that much easier. Once loaded, it fires big damage in close quarters, which is sure to introduces a new playstyle. The weapon can be charged up for a heavier attack. It can even be used to snipe enemies from a long range.
Something New
Each of the cultists can flaunt their Follower fashion through the new Tailor building. Once it's unlocked, each cultist gets to wear their own outfit, with 23 different styles to choose from. However, the Cult is getting even more unique where two Followers who love each other very much may find an egg. They can then nurture this egg and once it hatches take care of the offspring until it's ready to pledge allegiance to the Cult.
Cult of the Lamb is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch.
