Luis Diaz could soon be wearing a Tottenham shirt if Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are to get their way this month.
Coming to the attention of a number of clubs over the past couple of seasons due to his sparkling form for Porto, Spurs are eyeing up a late move for the Colombian international.
The Portuguese club will not want to let their star man depart on the cheap but there is a confidence within Tottenham that a deal can come to fruition in the last few days of the transfer market.
Diaz would undoubtedly be a very popular signing with the club's fanbase and many will no doubt be heading to the club store to get his name and number on their shirt if he does sign on the dotted line.
Currently wearing the No.7 shirt at Porto, that number unfortunately isn't available for him at Tottenham as Son Heung-min is the man in possession of the jersey.
So what shirt numbers are available for Diaz if he is to make the move to Tottenham before Monday's deadline? football.london takes a look.
No.9
The famous No.9 shirt remains vacant at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following Gareth Bale's departure from the club last summer.
No.13
No.13, which was last worn by Michel Vorm, is also currently free as things stand but it is traditionally a number for goalkeepers.
No.16
The jersey last belonged to Kyle Walker-Peters prior to his move to Southampton in 2020.
No.17
Diaz may favour the No.17 shirt given it does contain the number seven.
The number was last worn by Moussa Sissoko before leaving for Watford ahead of the summer transfer deadline.
No.21
Juan Foyth was Tottenham's last No.21 but his time at the club came to an end in the summer after joining Villarreal permanently.
No.24
Serge Aurier's departure from Tottenham back on deadline day means this number is available for any new signings.
No.26
Tottenham haven't officially retired Ledley King's No.26 shirt but nobody has worn it since he called time on his career almost a decade ago.
No.30
Tottenham's next No.30 will be hoping for better luck than Gedson Fernandes following his forgetful spell at the club.
And the numbers which could become available
No.11
Tottenham may have a decision to make over Bryan Gil if Diaz comes in as that will only restrict the Spaniard's game time.
No.14
Joe Rodon ideally needs a move away before deadline day as he has played a bit-part role this campaign.
Diaz does wear No.14 for Colombia.
No.18
Giovani Lo Celso's time at the club could be coming to an end after his exclusion from the matchday squad against Chelsea last Sunday.
No.20
A loan move could be on the cards for Dele Alli this month as he looks to get his career back on track.
No.23
It would be a huge shock if Steven Bergwijn departs before Monday's deadline but Ajax could potentially come in with another offer for the Dutchman.
No.28
Tanguy Ndombele may be one of a handful of players to depart Tottenham before deadline day as he just isn't going to get game time under Conte in N17.
