The Boston Celtics have been in a good rhythm and have faced different challenges in each game and despite Boston’s historic blowout on Wednesday night vs. the Indiana Pacers, All-Star guard Jrue Holiday isn’t letting the early success go to his head. “You stay humble and keep it moving,” said Holiday postgame to NBC Boston Sports.
“I think we take it game by game,” he added. “I think these first however many games we’ve played, every team’s been different, so we’ve had a different challenge thrown at us each game. We lock into the tendencies, we lock into the game plan, and I think that’s how we challenge ourselves.”
Holiday also emphasized the need to stay focused and not get complacent, especially when facing teams that may be considered weaker opponents.

The Celtics now find themselves off to a 4-0 start for the first time in over a decade and have plenty of winnable games ahead. Holiday’s philosophy of taking things game-by-game could be tested by the banality of success.
But that’s a problem Boston fans are more than happy to have.
