San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings didn’t hold back his feelings about Seattle Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen on Instagram recently.
On an NFL post about Woolen’s celebrated rookie season in Seattle, the NFC West wideout took a jab at his division rival by basically saying he’s a scheme cornerback.
“Boy Better stay in cov 3 or it’s a buffet out there,” Jennings posted in the comments section of Woolen’s recognition.
Well, being that it’s Instagram and all, Woolen chirped back and didn’t seem so impressed with Jennings’ play: “😂😂😂 bro you the only WR that talk. You better just stick to blocking and catching flats you TE.”
Woolen seemed to take all the Instagram comments about his play in stride, at least.
“Lol I knew I must’ve done something right this season when I’m getting players to talk trash about me in the comments 😂😂 all I do is show love,” Woolen wrote in a separate comment.
One of the finalists for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Woolen has plenty to be proud of for his first year in the league.
Although, the 2022 fifth-round pick might be circling Seattle’s two games with the 49ers this fall and hoping to get a few snaps on Jennings in coverage.
