New research has revealed the universities in Scotland with the most graduates hired by the world's biggest tech giants.
The analysis, carried out by TonerGiant, used LinkedIn to find out which universities employees of 26 of the world's biggest tech giants went to - including Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft and Google.
In the top 10 Scottish universities listed the University of Glasgow came in second, with 1,012 graduates in the field - while the University of Strathclyde just behind it in third, having 881.

Further down the list is Glasgow Caledonian University, which ranked seventh.
Topping the list is the University of Edinburgh, with 2,063 alumni now working in one of the big tech giants.
Also included in the research was which companies hire graduates from different universities - showing Amazon takes on more Scottish graduates than any other giant tech company.
The multinational tech company employs 197 graduates of the University of Glasgow, as well as 146 from the University of Strathclyde.
Also included was Accenture, IBM, Google, Apple and Oracle.
In terms of regions in the UK, TonerGiant’s study showed Scotland is 3rd most likely to produce employees of big tech - with London topping the ranking, having a total of 27,678 alumni moving into one of the 26 biggest tech companies.
These figures shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, with 11,000 tech firms contributing over £6 billion to the Scottish economy.
While we’ve long been known for heavy engineering, in recent years Scotland has seen a huge rise in successful technology firms and has attracted companies from around the globe.
Eric Galbraith, corporate partner at law firm Brodies, said Scotland in general is leaning towards tech as its biggest industry.
He said: “Scotland has world-class universities and talent. What’s also critical to the success of tech is the public funding that’s available from the likes of Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish National Investment Bank.
“The public sector has had a real focus on supporting technology. One of the great things about the tech sector is that it knows no borders and has transferability.”
