Scott Brown was not shy as a football player to get stuck in and that seems to be translating to his Fleetwood Town players.
The Celtic legend is gaining invaluable experience in the dugout with the Cods and has been successful in navigating the English League One as well as producing upsets in the FA Cup along the way. 'Broony''s incredible career in Glasgow came to an end in 2021 but the now gaffer, who was known for his aggression on the pitch seems to be delivering the same message to his squad.
New stats reveal that Fleetwood have registered a staggering 81 yellow cards this season across 40 games in all competitions. The Cods have also had a man sent off in four league games this campaign making them the most carded team in the division.

Only struggling Forest Green Rovers, incidentally now managed by fellow Scot Duncan Ferguson, who was also known to enjoy a tackle or two in his playing days, have registered more yellows than Brown's side. He notched up over 100 yellows during his time in Glasgow and was also sent off for the Hoops four times.
Fleetwood's form has been inconsistent lately, with the last two games ending in defeat but the previous three being unbeaten. The Cods face a six-pointer at home to Port Vale tomorrow - who sit just one place above them in the league.
